After a week, we boarded the Dublin Ferry heading for Holyhead counting the days until we could go back. The list of must see’s now swelled by: a megalithic tomb (Mayo has 160), a deserted famine village (on Achill), Ballintubber Abbey passion play. And any one of the numerous local galleries and art studios we passed because the other half was driving and ‘don’t worry there’ll be loads more’ drove us to the only one that was shut.
