In short. For all that we joined the EU because we were in a mess and now we are leaving because we are in a mess and so is Europe and we may not be as British or as Great as we think we are, Brexit, in the end may not be as scary as it seems.
Foreign Investment is part of our lives, far more than we might have first thought. In the near future the decisions around and by foreign investment and investors will continue to cause a ripple of concern. Until the Brexit negotiations are complete we perhaps shouldn’t imagine it to be a potential tsunami.
I’m going to finish with a good news story. It’s a story about resilience, vision, venture capitalism and the rise of a phoenix from the ashes. In short, all the qualities that once made us the best in the world.
